 5/11 - Meet Up!

We'll start out with warm-up games.  Then we'll work our way into some basic scene games.  Then we'll get into guessing games.  Guessing games are a mainstay of improv. Being able to communicate effectively while on stage and understand what is not said is just as important as listening! We'll focus on a variety of guessing games and how to read what your fellow players don't tell you.

3/23 - Meet Up Review!

The March meetup was in conjunction with V/O Careers.com and VoiceHunters.com.  It focused on how voice is important to the creation of characters.  Some of the games we worked on included Gibber Phone, Party Quirks, and an abbreviated game of 10 Characters.  We finished up with the ever-popular We Need Gas!

11/12 - Meet Up Review!

The focus was teamwork scenes that require you to depend on your fellow improvists.  Warm-up games, Endow Me, a scene with a one-footed homeless guy applying for a job in Trumpet Corp, voiceover twister, super strong gym students and their super weak instructor, 3 daughters discuss who is the biggest "whore" at their grandfather's funeral, and finally some QVC where Doc had to guess objects like a dog collar made out of actual dogs that you feed to your cats, and other objects too gross to mention!

10/27 - Halloween Edition Meet Up Review!

Lots of fun! Here's the fast recap. Warm-up games, scenes about drug dealers & gay lovers, the cast of Jack-Ass goes antiquing, mumbo jumbo from inside a fallopian tube, gibberish speaking lesbians in repair shop, Styles Replay, Boy Scouts seducing Girl Scouts, an orgasmic game of Questions, and, last but not least, angry chickens in a game of We Need Gas. Now aren't you sad you missed it?!
